Zoë Hunter is a writer/director/performer. She was a member of Brighton based Unpacked Theatre, producing and touring their work for a decade. As a writer, the development of her first feature, Heavy, was supported by the BellRock screenwriting programme and she has just completed the NFTS Scotland John Yorke Screenwriter’s Academy. Zoë is also proud to present her first feature length work as director, Dark Soul (A Film for The Ears), written by Ros Borland, which won a Torc Award for excellence at the 2024 Celtic Media Festival.

 

She received a best supporting actress Offie nomination for Metal Rabbit’s sell-out show Lardo and starred in CBBC's Scottish BAFTA winning, Last Commanders.
