Biography:

Liam Rees is a Scottish/Irish director making new work in the UK and internationally. He has been commissioned by HOME and is developing projects supported by Vanishing Point, Dublin Fringe, Les Theatres de la Ville de Luxembourg, and Unga Dramaten. He was previously an Associate Artist with Dead Centre and a Supported Artist with Vanishing Point.

Credits include: Hope This Helps (Edinburgh Fringe); Little Sister (The Glitch); 5 Shorts (Young Vic); The Land That Never Was (Camden People's Theatre); Sycamore Grove (Theatre503/Edinburgh Fringe); It's Criminal (Tron Theatre) and The Devil Drinks Cava (Òran Mór). 
 
Assistant directing credits include: Deaf Republic (Ben Kidd & Bush Moukarzel, Royal Court/Dublin Theatre Festival); The Return of Danton (Omar Elerian, Munich Kammerspiele); Gratis Chips (Karolien de Bleser, BRONKS Theater voor Jong Publiek).
